Properties Free from cadmium compounds, which are considered harmful to the environment and health Complies with current EU directives (e.g. RoHS, REACH) on limiting harmful substances No impairment of material properties due to the absence of cadmium Often in combination with other low-pollutant properties such as lead-free or heavy metal-free Advantages More environmentally friendly and sustainable in production and disposal Safer in contact with humans, animals and nature Meets requirements for sensitive applications, e.g. in food or drinking water technology Lower risk of contaminant migration into media such as water or air ✅ Areas of application Drinking water supply and food industry Medical technology and laboratories Horticulture, aquariums and animal husbandry All applications with high requirements for material purity and environmental compatibility Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
